Set upon a Caribbean sugar trading ship heading for Greenock, Scotland. Rats, Rum and Rampage showcases a turn based fighting game as superpowered rats in the classic and retro GameBoy art style. 

As you progress through the battles you will have educational facts to do with the Caribbean.

The Rats

In addition to the main move set which every rat has access to the Special moves are as follows for each rat.

• Rum Rat - Rat Hole 
• Scurvy Rat - Rat-aliation 
• Fat Rat - Rat-ion Damage
• Sugar-Rush Rat - Rat Trap
• Scare Rat - Raging Anxiety  
• Aqua Rat - Drowned Rat 
• Captain Rat -  3 Rat-keteers 

No Spoilers as to what they do.

Player

Known as the "Swashbuckler Rat" the Player begins with the ability "Whis-ka-slash" which deals 5-30 damage, it is a bit of a gamble however can pay off.

As the Swashbuckler advances through levels they can "Pirate," other rat's moves. The Player can choose one of their moves to replace with the (now defeated) other rat's move.   

The Hidden Rat

Keep an eye out for "Cat Rat", an Easter egg hidden within the game which will need a code to access. No spoilers or hints for you though,

Move Set

All rats will have bite plus  2 of these moves;

• Bite - A damaging move dealing 9 - 18 health points
• Fleas - Raise the speed stat by getting rid of fleas
• Tail Whip - A damaging move dealing a set 11 damage
• Snarl - Both a damaging and debuff move deal 5 damage and lower enemy speed.
• Screech - Has a chance to lower enemy speed by a significant amount
